Isamu sees himself as a guide to the student's future. He sometimes acts like a counselor when a student has a problem and would like to talk about it. He is a listener. His students appear to consider him as a good friend. Often, he writes odd facts about acting and performing arts on the board. Sometimes he thinks outside the box. He started teaching DBA when he was 27.
